Hutto ISD Campuses Receive Distinctions

At last week's Board Meeting, Hutto ISD Superintendent Dr. Doug Killian presented principals from schools within the district with plaques for various distinctions, as recognized by the Texas Education Association's (TEA) 2016 Accountability Rating System.
 
The distinctions are:
Hutto High School: Academic Achievement in Social Studies; Top 25% Closing Performance Gaps; and Postsecondary Readiness
 
Hutto Middle School: Top 25% Closing Performance Gaps
 
Farley Middle School: Top 25% Student Progress
 
Cottonwood Creek Elementary: Academic Achievement in ELA/Reading
 
Hutto Elementary: Academic Achievement in Science; Top 25% Student Progress; and Top 25% Closing Performance Gaps
 
Ray Elementary: Academic Achievement in Math; and Top 25% Student Progress
 
Veteran's Hill Elementary: Academic Achievement in Math; and Top 25% Student Progress
