Karen Strauss » Bio

Hello Farley Families and Students,
My name is Karen Strauss and I am excited to be your child's 6th grade math teacher. This is my second year teaching math at Farley. I received a bachelor's degree in Accounting from California State University, East Bay in the San Francisco area. I am currently working towards a master's degree in Education at Texas State University. I live in Round Rock with my husband, David, and our three children. My oldest daughter, Katelyn, is in 9th grade, my daughter, Kendall is in 7th grade and my son, James, is in 4th grade. We also have a dog, Lili, who is a Rottweiler and very spoiled! As a parent and educator, I value education and have high expectations for all of my students. I look forward to instructing and guiding your student in math at Farley. It's going to be a great year!
